SFFCon is an indie-forward convention focused on a shared love of the science fiction and fantasy genres. Our rules for participating in the con and related online activities are simple:

1. Be Kind and Courteous

We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.

2. Check Politics at the Door

No discussion of real-world politics. That includes discussion of # social movements. Not because these things aren't critically important in our society, this just isn't the venue for it. The world is already very divisive, and we don't need that drama in our happy place. We are here as fellow humans, and we will focus on the humanity—and fandoms—that unites us.

3. No Hate Speech, Harassment, or Bullying

Harassment, bullying, or defamation of character of any kind isn't allowed. Degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity will not be tolerated.

4. No Un-Approved Promotions or Spam

Give more than you take to this group. Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links aren't allowed. If you have something you'd like to sell (like SF&F art), talk to the admins first.

5. Have FUN!

We’re here to have a good time and indulge our passion for SF&F. This is a drama-free zone!
